While taking pictures at a memorial party for a wonderful friend who recently passed away, her pretty Calico showed up to pay her respects. Normally an unsociable cat, Lulu felt compelled to come in from outside and mingle with the party guests. I got this shot of her just before she came inside. Not wanting to scare her I just held the camera out the door so she wouldn’t see me and aimed as carefully as I could. I love how the color of her eyes matches the vase she is sitting next to. Lulu, along with many other people, will miss Cindy terribly.
